I am contacting you to ask for donations for the China Care Foundation/True Children's Home Supply Drive I am hosting. China Care Foundation, Inc., is a foundation helping special-needs orphans in China by providing medical, social, and educational support for these orphans until they find permanent homes. They help provide medically necessary treatments and a safe and nurturing environment. China Care has 4 Children's Homes, in Beijing where children stay for medical treatments (capacity: 35 children), Taiyuan, Shanxi (24-30 children), Baoji, Shaanxi (6 children), Baotou, Inner Mongolia (20-25 children), and they provide assistance to the True Children's Homes in Dongguan, Guangdong (22 children) and Anji, Zhejiang (16 children). True Children's Home is making a difference by working with some of China's poorest and least accessible orphanages by providing specialized care to special needs orphans. They, like China Care, which they are affiliated with, provide medical care for children with special needs, round-the-clock care for the children (with a caregiver to child ratio or 2:1), and foster care. Please donate items to help further the work of the China Care Foundation & True Children's Homes!

Infant Tylenol & Motrin Drops
Oral Rehydration Powder
Enfamil Poly-Vi-Sol Multivitamin Drops with Iron for Infants & Children
Enfamil Fer-In-Sol 15mg Iron Supplement Drops for Infants & Children
Hydrocortisone 0.1% ointment
Diaper Rash ointment
Neosporin or similar product
Coloplast or Cavilon Skin Barrier Prep Wipes (for ostomies)
3M Tegaderm Surgical Dressing
Replacement nipples for regular baby bottles
Preemie Size feeding bottles and nipples
Pigeon cleft nipples and valve assemblies
Similac Neosure formula (for preemies and low-birth weight babies) powder only
Pampers Preemie Diapers (for up to 2.3 kg or roughly 5lbs.)
These items are urgently needed for the children in China Care's care. They have many preemies right now, as well. The full list of current needs can be found at >

Among these needs are several Rx items, including Ventolin (albuterol) for a nebulizer, Pulimcort (.25 and .5 mg concentrations) for nebulizer, Xonepex for nebulizer, and Silversulphadiazine burn cream. If you know of a way we could purchase these items or of a doctor who would be willing to give us samples to send to China Care, please let me know, as these are some of the more difficult items to obtain. Among their items are Nestle Stage 1 and 2 formula, diapers from preemie to large, non-battery operated toys and toys with no small pieces, such as puzzles, blocks, baby-aged books, clothing and winter coats for preemie to 4T, and many other items, many of the same as are found on the China Care list.

Monetary donations are accepted, either by cash or check made out to "China Care Foundation".
